HIC HABITAT FELICITAS

In ancient Rome, the Phallus, God Fascinus personified, was considered one of the most powerful amulet. As a divine phallus, God Fascinus was strongly believed to possess a magical ability to keep away evil eye and envy, bringing good fortune and happiness to those who revered it.

The ring bears the latin inscription "HIC HABITAT FELICITAS", which translates to "Here dwells happiness". The phrase was found during the excavations of Pompeii next to a large phallus; however, it was simply the sign of a bakery !
