Handcrafted in 18k gold, this one-of-a-kind ring features an authentic Ancient Greek silver drachm struck in Apollonia Pontika, Thrace, during the 4th century BC.

The obverse depicts the striking facing head of Medusa (Gorgoneion), one of the most iconic images of Greek coinage. Revered as a powerful protective symbol, Medusa was believed to ward off evil and safeguard its bearer.

The reverse features the city’s emblematic anchor, celebrating Apollonia Pontika’s maritime heritage and its importance as one of the principal Greek colonies on the Black Sea.

The authentic coin is freely suspended beneath a polished 18k gold band, illuminated by seven brilliant-cut natural diamonds. Traditionally associated with completeness, harmony, and protection, the number seven subtly echoes the timeless symbolism of Medusa.
